I'm considering using colloidal silica applied as a curing agent to reduce the potential for vapour transmission through a slab on grade.

Does anyone have good or bad experiences with this product?

I've never used these products on any of my designs, but I did use one on my existing basement slab. Apparently no vapor barrier was put down, or it was not working. My wife is pregnant and we wanted a sealer product with minimal VOC's. FWIW, it went on very easily and it has stopped the moisture that we noticed would collect under boxes placed on the slab.

Thanks for that, it sounds positive.
