Hi all

I Am about to ask a rookie question but I am at loss as to how to solve it
I Am trying to construct a dynamic model to analyse the crash response of aluminum honeycomb but am getting the dreaded energy error too large message.
The model consists of a representative section of the honeycomb formed from surfaces in design modeller. It is supported on a solid with another solid as the impactor. The problem seems to be with the symmetries applied to the outer edges of the honeycomb as if these are removed the simulation runs without error. Only problem is that the section is destroyed in the process, not good.

Has anyone come across a similar problem or have any pointers to help solve

Many thanks
