I'm using ANSYS LS-DYNA to model a case where certain constrains, velocities and loads must be applied at an arbitrary time during the analysis.
They cannot be defined entirely at the start of the run, because they depend on displacement, velocity and acceleration results at the time.
To simplify, what I want to do is:
1. Run the analysis up to a time t1;
2. Stop the analysis and enter post-processing to obtain results;
3. Based on these results, define the loadings, "initial" velocity and acceleration from that time onward (t>t1);
4. Run the analysis again from t1 to t2;
5. Get results, possibly repeat the process;

The problem is, when I issue the solve command again (the step 4 above), the simulation starts from the beginning, all displacements are null again.
I would impose such displacements as initial conditions, but ANSYS LS-DYNA doesn't permit to do it, its only possible to define starting velocities.

Any ideas?
