Exploder Line Will Not Go Away

I have several exploded assemblies where I create a drawing file and hide some components where their exploded (route lines) won't go away. They also create extra curves that are visible but un-selectable. This is driving me crazy. Can anyone help me??

Quick thought is to lock the drawing focus [right click] on the view you want to change. You might be able to select then.
