I have yet to find a way of getting good quality 3D images out of MDT4. Export BMP produces very poor line quality etc, likewise does saving rendered images. The best way I have found to date is to use print screen then past into Paintshop but this still doesn't give the quality I am looking for. I used to get great images out of Pro/E and would be greatfull for any help in getting similar from MDT4

Cheers

Dear Nickdavy,
If you want to export a vector image, the best format is the WMF. The WMFOUT command creates vector based graphic files so resizing the image would not changes the quality.

To export the raster images you can copy and paste the viewport using the PrintScreen key (paste into windows paintbrush).

The RENDER command can send its output to a file. Just set the Destination in Render dialog box to file and select the file type using the 'More Options' button.
