Hi All,
I use Matlab extensively for plotting, but I have always had a problem exporting LaTeX symbols (like \mu) in the labels on graphs. They typically won't scale with the other fonts, and you wind up with a very small symbol. This happens with tiff and jpeg exports, in particular.
I have actually found that in using the font Helvetica, you don't have the symbol scaling problem - you have a font scaling problem. I can't get Helvetica to scale at all for tiffs.
These are two separate (though related) problems, really, and a solution to either one would work.
Thanks.
