exporting parts list 1

should be simple right?

right click, export, file type, done!

a message comes back, "unable to append file".
There is no file to append.
There is probably a simple explanation. Could someone let me in on it??

Apparently this is a path/file name length issue.
The file will export properly if place high up in the path structure. However, if you get past 55? characters in the path you will see an error message if less than 55 it seems to work fine

C BLiss also has a neat little add-on program called BOM extractor that will do some other nice things the BOM from inventor assemblies. Indented BOM, part count etc. Makes excel manipulation easier for your purchasing people (if you need that kind of thing)
