Hi,
Does anyone have a suggestion for creating solid model files in Solidworks for later export as IGES files into Ansys?
I have tried the various filters and settings (such as tolerence) both on the export and import side and still find that Ansys will not recognize my imported drawing as a solid model. There are only surfaces available.
I also experimented with the "heal" function without success in an attempt to repair the imported entity.
Are there some basic "rules of the road" when creating Solidworks drawings that allow for more seamless export into Ansys? Or export/import settings that may be peculiar to the SW/Ansys export/import?
Thanks,
Art
