Exporting to ANSYS

I got this error message when I tried to import SW created iges file in ANSYS.

"Area list could contain multiple volumes. Make sure areas enclose only one volume."

Any general advice or comment will be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with ANSYS since we use Nastran and Mechanica. But the IGES format is not the best format to use. I would see if ANSYS can use parasolid or STEP formats. Those have proved to be much more stable when we do SLA and other prototyping methods.

I had succed in outport a model from sw,and import it to ansys.
I had try in iges,and others format and lost.
But at the last,in the prasolid format I had succed in importing it. So you can try it.
