Does anyone have any tips on exporting drawings to dwg files. I have been doing this for a while but I would like to get away from the seemingly necessary clean up in ACAD afterwards. For example, BOM's come into ACAD (for me at least) in a barely visible grey when they were black in my SLDDRW file.

Thanks,
Matt

Look into using a map file. This is used for mapping out lines to layers, etc...

Thanks Scott, I just worked thru the mapping file bit but I still can't figure out how to change the contents of the BOM to white or something visible with a black ACAD window. I mapped the BOM in the entities to white but only the BOM lines show up as white. The content comes thru as color 179 which is nearly black. Any ideas?

The new SW BOM. I just found a work around. I changed the layer of the BOM to something different than 0. Of course I have to do this to all of my BOM's before I can get the task scheduler to work right when exporting.
