I'm getting the following deficience error on my top head of a vertical tower:

* External design pressure varies across this chamber.

Any thoughts as to why?

The specified external pressures are not the same for all components. COMPRESS will return a warning message if the design pressure (internal or external) is not consistent. For some designs this variation may be valid. However, in some cases it is due to erroneous input and COMPRESS checks for such.

You can inspect the specified design pressure for all components by using the Global Change dialog (Action menu). Or you can simply use the Global Change function to change all components to the same design pressures without further ado.

Thanks Tom.

I figured that was it, even did that before posting, using the global change to update my external pressure but still got the same error. I just did it again and the error has gone away.

Lesson learned: never under estimate the power of a re-boot.

Thanks again.
