External pressure Nozzle UG-28

Hi,

I'm checking nozzle thickness acc. to UG-28 for external pressure, code ASME VIII Div.1. What value of "L" do I have to use?
Nozzle is a 2" WN+pipe welded external to a formed head with a set-in weld. Thanks

I'd use the length from the head outside surface to the backside of the flange (includes the flange hub).
