extract sketch out of section view

Dear readers,

is it possible to extract a sketch out of a section view in solid edge, and if so, how can I do it?

For instance, I constructed a complex heatsink and I place a section view, not in the middle, but part ways. Is it possible to copy paste the visible contours in that section view?

What I would do is create a copy of the section view and then RMB & "Convert to 2D view".
If you then "Draw in View" you can copy & paste from there.
