extracting Matrices from Nastran Modal analysis

Hi everyone,

I need help

1) punch damping matrix
2) For Ground Vibration Test, I need to apply excitation force to the wing. How to model excitation force in Patran/Nastran?
3) how to get Mass matrix from modal analysis, I can get unit mass matrix, I need a mass for each mode for given plate.

4) Need to generate IRF( impulse response matrix), any idea from Nastran?

Hi,

for the mass matrix generation (in your f06 file), you have to add this line in your bdf

MEFFMASS(ALL)=YES
