Extrude Geometry - Dimension Gets Priority

Greetings:

When I sketch to make a solid body, as I'm selecting the geometry, if it is near a dimension, the dimension gets selected first, which, a dimension cannot be used to extrude, but yet it tries to select it. Is there a way to turn this off or re-prioritize the entities you wish to select.

You can do a couple things here.
* You can set your filter only to curves.

* In your search feature in NX enter Selection Priority, and you will see the CNTRL SHIFT functions that are associated with what gets the highest selection priority.
