Extrude with multiple draft defaults (NX5)

Why is it that the default multiple draft value for extruding is 2 degrees? Is there any way to change it? Here is my complaint: I have a profile that I have extruded with a single draft value of 0.5 degrees. Now I find that I need to change one of the drafted surfaces to a different angle, so I open the feature and change the draft angle option from "Single" to "Multiple." The result is that ALL of my draft angles are changed to 2 degrees, and I have to manually change them back to 0.5.

This is a guess - I suspect that 2 degrees has been used as it is a value that is large enough such that you'd notice that it had been applied and small enough such that it doesn't make a mockery of your model.

Without having a more thorough look, I'm not sure where you change it.

I don't have access to NX at this precise minute - so cannot advise on the single/multiple issue

Just an idea, why not apply draft as a separate feature?

Just tested this in 6 - I see what you mean, it is a little frustrating where NX globally changes the value to the default.

I'd log a call with Siemens.
