extruding raised or recessed text

I have searched in Inventor Help and haven't been able to find how to do this. Is it possible to create raised or recessed text on a part preferably with a choice of font? Or is there an alphabet somewhere that I can download and scale width and height for my particular need?

The command that you are looking for is Emboss. You need to create a sketch and place the text in the sketch mode. After you return from the sketch you can hit the emboss button.
