What are your fabricators charging to fabricate structural steel per ton? Total tonnage?

Thank you

This can vary widely depending on location, type of fabrication (steel shapes and sizes, CJP welds, AESS, etc.), that said, I am seeing stuff in the $5000 - $6000 (per ton) range right now. Projects are usually in the 20 to 150 ton range and all of the steel is HDG.

Your tonnes are lighter than mine and my dollar is lighter than the US dollar. But I get it for around $5000USD a US-tonne.

It's going to vary widely, depending on how much fabrication is involved.

At the low end for us would be wide flange bridge girders, with connection plates and rolled channel diaphragms. Those would probably be around $4000 a US Ton. Typical tonnage would be around 40.

At the high end would be our roadside dynamic message sign structures, with lots of small fabricated parts, small angles welded together, expanded metal panels, u-bolts, etc. I'd estimate one of those at around $16,000 per US Ton in today's market. Those are about 6 tons each.
