Hi all,
I'm looking at making up a mock plater / sheet metal work test piece for some of our students, as it's not something they really do as welders.
Does anyone have any designs they can share? Square-to-rounds / duct work / pattern development etc. would be appreciated.
Looking to focus on 3 mm steel plate (for GMAW / GTAW), that they can bend / form into a test piece, tack together than then weld up.
They have all done welder quals, but it's to give them a finer appreciation for the fabrication side of things.
