Facets on a curved surface

I have been struggling with a problem for a few days now. I have an indicator light which has a clear lens over it. It is a kind of domed shape. I need to add facets (preferably prismatic) to the inside to help distribute the light. Any suggestions as to how to go about this? I am using Wildfire 2.
