Hi all,

I'm running an explicit dynamic analysis. In this analysis a small disk is interposed between two rigid bodies. On one of these there are boundary conditions while on the other one is applied a pressure. The disk might fail because of shear. The issue is that I can't allow element removal on the analysis. This is my first approach with Abaqus Cae and it's pretty hard to find a solution. I post my .inp file
Please help me

actually it is. In abaqus an axisymmetric model is made by rotation of a section about y axis. What you see is the section. Check in part module that all the parts are axisymmetric
