I am working on a final project and I am new to SAP2000. I am trying to figure out how to run a analysis for a 2d truss bridge that has numerous point loads acting on it. The problem states that it is a uniform , however, you cannot apply a uniform load to the truss because it cannot deal with bending. Is there a way that I can enter the failure strength and run a analysis that can determine the maximum load that can be applied before one member of my truss fails ?
