Hello,

I am performing DOE using Adams/Insight on my full vehicle model in Adams/Car. The issue I am facing is - if I simulate the model on SPMM testrig within the Adams/Car interface, it works fine but when I try to simulate the model for multiple trials through Adams/Insight, I get a 'position and velocity initial conditions' error. The DOE keeps on running though even after the error but gives out garbage values.

I am attaching the .msg file here if someone wants to refer. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

PS: I already performed DOE on this same model for constant radius cornering (Cornering event) maneuver and it ran successfully.

Static equilibrium analysis has not been successful.
The maximum number of iterations 250, has been reached.
For the last attempted iteration:
The equation with the largest error was model.FWD_rear_macpherson_strut.bgl_hub_compliance.field Comp = 3 Error = 6488941844.446731
The variable receiving the largest increment was model.FWD_rear_macpherson_strut.bgl_hub_compliance.field Comp = 4 Delta = 178998974445.525299.

As the error message says

QSTATIC: Static equilibrium analysis has not been successful at the
initial time for a Quasi-Static Simulation. Try adjusting the EQUILBRIUM
settings and/or performing one or more preceding STATICS analyses at
the initial time to create a "static funnel".

You could also try different solvers.

Usually SPMM is pretty robust. Which constant radius event did you use?
