Family of parts and File properties

I would like to have members of a family of parts, enter text in the Document Number of the file properties. Is there a way of doing this.

After you populate the family members, you have to open each one individually and update the properties. Of course, there are other short cuts, such as right-click and select properties from Windows Explorer, but you may not get all your propseed file information.

I also recommend opening each child part because that is the only way to update the physical properties.
