Hi,

Does anybody know how to filter an instance out of a (repeat regioned) table on a family table drawing ?

I can get rid of unwanted parameters using the repeat region > filters > edit command.

Alas it does not filter out instances.

any help appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply mate.

I am trying to add an instance to a family table that already has instances filtered out of the drawing somehow.

When I go to 'r. region > relations > show' for this table/region there are none, so it must have been done originally without using relations.

When I remove the repeat region, the instances which have been filtered out (somehow!), reappear !

Is there a way to do it without relations, like the original designer has?

using PROE2001 BTW.

again cheers for the reply.

Got it sussed.

When filtering out paramaters from family tables.
We use R. region > Filters > edit.

then add text: &fam.inst.param.name != X
where X is the name of the parameter

to get shot of unwanted instances displayed on the drawing this is changed to:

&fam.inst.name != X

where X is the instance name.

cheers
