Fast Food Restuarants

Howdy,

I am working on a project for a fast food restaurant and was wondering if anyone here could point me to important chapters in the ASHRAE handbook that might be able to provide me with guidance.

The specific system I am going to be working on is the hot water delivery and want to read up before I approach this customer.

Is this the domestic hot water or heating hot water system?

You want to look in ASHRAE Systems Design Handbook, under Service Water Heating. I would recommend a gas-fired storage type water heating system. Be sure to provide enough. A restaurant will never complain about having too much hot water.
