I'm looking for a compilation of fastener torque vs. size drive type vs. material. One of the "old-timers" remembers seeing a wall chart produced by a fastener company, but he doesn't remember the source.

Specifically, my question is "what is the expected range of torque that a person would apply to a 10-32 SST screw with a cross-recess driver?"

Lamson & Sessions published a chart
with different grades 2 thru 8 and I would be
glad to fax it to you. The values were
for 75 percent of yield and listed values
for tightening dry and lube assuming the
coefficient of .20 and .15 respectively.
This goes back to the 70s. My chart is worn
but useful.
