Hi everyone;

I am not an Abaqus expert and would like to check the overall behavior evolution of a steel girder bridge under the effect of fatigue. I intend to apply a movable (dynamic) load on the deck equal to the Average Daily Traffic ADT and Average Daily Truck traffic times 365 days and then the number of years.
1/ is it possible? If yes, any clues or recommendations (I don't know how to start)?
2/ If not, how can I assess the long-term fatigue effect on the bridges?
Thank you in advance

Abaqus has built-in procedures for low-cycle fatigue analyses. But if you need something more advanced, consider using another tool from DS SIMULIA - fe-safe. It supports import of Abaqus results databases.
