I am currently running a CAESAR II pipe stress analysis to ultimately evaluate the remaining fatigue life of a piping system. The material is A790 (S31803) at about 300 degrees F. Does anybody have a fatigue curve for this material that goes out to at least 50 X 10E6 cycles.? There are preloaded fatigue curves in CAESAR that are from ASME Section VIII Division 2 chapter 5 but I don't know which of these preloaded curves most closely matches the duplex stainless steel for my application.
Regards,

Pat

Welcome to the forum Kat0430!

There are 3 global methods that solve fatigue problems:

[ul]
[li]The S-N Method[/li]
[li]The EPSILON-N Method[/li]
[li]The Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics[/li]
[/ul]

Only the Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics can predict the remaining life of a structure/component. I suggest you to use this method in your problem .
