FC/PC connector thread

Hi there,

We have some optical fiber cables with a connector such:

according to the specifications it has a FC/PC connector. I don't know what this means. Is it a specific connector? is it in inches? I couldn't find anything about it. I also looked up in the forum but the word "thread" is delicate because of the "threads" in the forum.

I need to manufacture a small piece for a LED and it must be screwed with this FC/PC connector

Yes, FC is a connector standard:

Google some FC datasheets; I believe you'll find that is an M8x32 thread.
