Does anyone have a good dryout proccedure for refractory in an FCCU ?

I presume you only have the heat from the air blower in the first instance ?in which case you wont get it hot enough to do other than take out the spare water and it wont cure. so you are stuck with running as long as you can (as long as the process guys will let you) to dry out the water 4-6 hrs min ..check steam coming out of the stack, then bring it on line gently (50C/hr) with the torch oil burner until you get it to ~600C leave it to soak for 8 hrs at that temp then go into start -up

check this with the refractory supplier /applicator,they should know the best for their product...the hard part is getting enough time to do it..
