FEA Requirements

Hi All,

When i am doing WRC analysis for my nozzle, i found warning - the ratio of Pad Radius/Rm 0.585, is not between 0.01 and 0.571.

Can I do the FEA analysis for this error??. Anyone please explain the error.

I'm going to guess that you are performing an evaluation in accordance with WRC 107/537?

Perhaps you should start by actually reading the document. The error that your software threw was that the applicability of the method in WRC 107/537 is within a nozzle radius-to-vessel radius between 0.01 and 0.571.

There are no such limitations when you perform an FEA. But I would recommend getting someone skilled in FEA to perform it for you.
