Hi all,
There I try to find out the most suitable fea application for the structural wire rope and steel frame construction analysis.
The several problems are with the rope:
[li]The rope is pretentioned;[/li]
[li]The rope is curved on the sliding supports;[/li]
[li]Should be calculated dynamical response and deflection for the overall construction as well.[/li]
Do someone have any suggestion?

Thanks GregLocock for the response.

I've explored a lot of stuff on youtube and google about LS Dyna.
It looks powerful and suitable for many solutions of a physical world. It works great with the sheet and shell elements.
But I didn't find out is there possibility to calculate the frame elements as the structural beams?
It is actual before asking authors for the demo version.
At the first look it makes sense that it is a little bit complicated for the training also.

Thanks guys and IDS for the great suggestions. Going to check this.
