Could someone please show me how to get a composite control frame with two separate "characteristics" on each row? See picture:

The Right is what I want, the left is what always happens. The best I can do is two separate single frames stacked on one another, which is time consuming. When I edit the second frame, I can only choose one characteristic and it applies to both rows of the frame. Thanks! NX 10

What is shown on the right side of your image is NOT a composite FCF. It's nothing more than Appended Text. A composite FCF has one form factor/characteristic (flatness, profile, position, runout, etc.) for all FCFs. Use the Appended Text dialog and manually enter the control characters to create the FCF. This is how it used to be done in Unigraphics way back in the day.
