Feature / Design tree width 1

My feature tree width keeps changing. I can drag it to the width I want but it does not stick. As soon as I change another file the width changes.

Does anyone know how to correct this behaviour?

Frustrating isn't it... It changes between files, it's not one feature manager tree for all. That would be an Enhancement request at the SW website in the customer portal.
