Feature Manager Background (Can I change it?)

I see someone asked back in 2005 and the concensus was no, so I was hoping that someone may have forund a way to change it since then. I have some nice texture patterns I would like to try out.

No. I still think that's pretty annoying, too. I used to like having my background and my FM match.

Question:
How can a user change the background color of the FeatureManager®?

Answer:
As of SolidWorks 2008, it is no longer possible to change the background color of the FeatureManager. This change was by design. The functionally was purposely changed to make the FeatureManager look more like a pane above the graphics area and to make the product look more branded with standard coloring.

Can someone offer a crack for this because I hate when someone tells me I can't do something because they think it looks better but I paid for the product.
