Feature Tree says Update SketchX in DetailX??

This should be an easy question.
At the bottom of my feature tree, below where it says Mate Group 1, there are a bunch of things listed. The have a green and yellow puzzle piece looking icon in front of them and they say things like 'Update Sketch1 in Det-01'.
What are these? Did I do something wrong? Will they ever go away?

These are the "update holders" for in-context features in that assemblies. If you dont want to sse them right click the top level assembly and select "Hide update holders"

You may also want to check the online help for "External References" or "Hide update holders"
