feed 2 loads from transformers

I am trying to tap an additional load from a particular transformer. My co-worker told me he has done that before and that should work but I just want to have more opinions.
This transformer currently feeds an MCCs (2 sets of 4-350kcmil). I want to tap its bushing to feed a panel that will feed motors (combination starters) and of course I will protect the panel with a breaker. This transformer has enough to feed both de MCC and the panel I will use.

My question is : can you feed 2 differents circuits from same transformer if there are bushing spares?

Probably depends on the applicable code rules. With no idea where you are it's tough to tell.

Yes, subject to meeting NEC tap rules 240.21 or 240.92 as applicable. I presume NEC applies to you, judging from the use of "kcmil".

As for more options, I always try not to saw seeds for a mess to grow. I would put a distribution board.

David, I'm located in Arizona.

Rbulsara, putting a distribution board is a good option. but we want to see if we could connect our load straight into the secondary of the transformer then connect it to a panel board for the new load.
This is mainly because it will cost us lots of money if we were to remove the actual wiring and connect it to a panel distribution...

You may have protection issues if the main breaker in the MCC is part of the transformer protection scheme.
How will a fault or overload on your new feeders be cleared?
