My company is looking to purchase more of the Atlas Copco MD Series "Heat of Compression" dryer with any new oil-free air compressors. We already have a few installed (1 to 3 years old) with mixed results but mostly favorable. I wanted to get feedback from others experience to address some concerns we had over the design.
1. The drum desiccant life - Is anyone getting 5 to 7 years life?
2. Seals around the drying/regeneration zone divider - Any issues with wet gas mixing with dry gas because of seal failure?
3. Operation with VSD compressors at part load - Are you still able to obtain -30 to -20 C PDP?
