Hi guys,

Can I customase two feeds_speeds libraries, separated on

NXCAM?

I mean, one library for one material and the second

library for other type of material. And clicking

a customized icon, I can load one library or the other

library.

Thanks.

Part material is one of the keys in the database, so it is all in one file. The search is based on part material, tool material, and cut method.

Hint - use "Set Machining Data". Do not use "Reset from Table"

Hi Mark,

I have explained badly. I want to know if I can customize two

feeds_speeds libraries, independet each one.

I mean one library for one purpose, feeds_speeds_1.

For another purpose, feeds_speeds_2 library.

It this possible?

Thanks.

You can habve multiple libraries bu having multiple CAM configurations. Each one can connect to a different library.

Dear Mark,

How can I customize multiple CAM configurations on NX?

I have seen the NX help but I don't understand the steps,

for customizing the diferent libraries.

Thanks.

Hello Mark,

I think that you mean to customize all libraries in this folder,

C:\Archivos de programa\UGS\NX 6.0\MACH\custom

On the custom folder, put feeds and speeds_1 .dat archive, and change the library rutes on mach_custom_readme.txt.

I am not sure, maybe on some UGII archive I have to change de rutes too, for feeds and speeds library.

Thanks.

The procedure of making copies is the same for the feeds and speeds library as for the tool library that I explained in your post last November.

In the configuration file, change LIBRARY_FEEDS_SPEEDS key instead of LIBRARY_TOOL.

Hello Mark,

Can I ask you which is the configuration file,

is on UGII directory? I am bit lost with these customizations.

Thanks.
