Hello,

I would like to make heat treatment simulation in Abaqus and I am not sure how to do that.
Do I need to make a subrutine in order to emit heating and cooling? If yes, does anyone have any examples how to create this?

The geometry is quite simple (cylinder) and I need to find what is a temperature range inside materials.

If eneyone ever made something simlar please share any ideas!

Thank you,
Lucas :)

The abaqus documentation includes an Example Problems Guide. In that guide there are several examples of heat transfer and thermal-stress analyses. You should start there. There is also a dedicated Abaqus forum.
