Hello Ladys and Gentlemen,

there is another question on my mind. It might sound a bit strange for you, but I have a problem to include temperature dependent material properties:

First I defined a function for Fiberglass heat conductivity over temperature (vs. temperature).
Then I opened the material definition window and went to the tab " function reference" and included my function inside the scrolldown menue "heat conductivity". I left the heat conductivity inside the first tab free.
The problem is, that this does not work. he is taking 0 for the heat conductivity.

Attemps to fix that problem:
I tried already:
giving a value to heat conductivity in the first tab
changing form static to transient heat transfer
in function definition I tried 2 and 5
-no succes

Does somebody have an idea how to handle this problem?
Thank you very much in advance!!

[smile]Hi,

okay, I have to set heat conductivity to 1 because my function gives only multipliers. :) :)
Now its working. :)
