How can I represent the effects of an ice cube placed on a hot griddle?

Recommended for you

Apply initial temperature to the cube (for example -4°C) and temperature or heat flux load to the bottom of the cube representing the heating by griddle. You can also model the griddle itself and apply temperature/heat flux load to it. It's also a good idea to assign convection to the cube in order to simulate cooling by the surrounding air.

Melting of Ice - make sure you allow for Enthalpy of Fusion in your simulation.
