Femap V11 under Windows 8

Hi,

I am trying to install Femap V11 on a machine with Windows 8 but an error has been occured. Did someone know if V11/Windows 8 are compatible ?

Hello!,
I run FEMAP V11 in WINDOWS8 perfectly, no problem during installation or running the software, everything runs fine, and Windows 8 is a love, I like it!.

Hi Blas,

Is there any additional configuration that i should do ? like compatibility...
I have installed the first version and i have error during installation.
I will install the V11.01 and keep you in touch.

Hi compositecurves,

First check what version of Windows 8 you are running... If you are running Windows 8 32-bit than you must install FEMAP v.11 32-BIT version. If your Windows 8 is 64 BIT than it doesn't matter, you should be able to install both 32- and 64-BIT version of FEMAP.

im running the windows 8 64-bit. the problem is resolved and consists of the execution of the setup as an administrator...
and yes Blas windows 8 is a love.
