FET ISO 15848 on check valves ?

Hi,

One of our Customer requires fugitive emissions tests acc. ISO 15848 on non return check valves.
In my opinion, this test is not applicable to check valves but only to gate or globe valves with packings.

is it correct or not ?

Emissions testing per ISO-15848-1 and -2 can be done on any valve with stem seals or packing, and any valve with body joints. If your valve does not have stem seals, packing, or body joints, then it is not appropriate to do a test per ISO-15848.
