I've done some work with steel fibres in small aggregate concretes (almost grouts) for a couple of tricky situations but I've now been asked to look at something a notch harder than that.
Does anybody here have experience with fibres in cementitious grouts, for use in grouting the annulus of sliplined pipes? The pipes are large, about 1400mm dia with a 66 mm annulus, and of materials with widely differing moduli.
I've got major doubts as to the need for steel or poly fibres in this application and significant concerns about the resulting complications (restrictions on pump type, excessive pumping pressure, reduced pumping distance, etc).
