Suggestion: There appear to be Field Service Engineer Forums on Web; however, they tend to be further refined, e.g. for specific industry or areas.

<Suggestion: There appear to be Field Service Engineer Forums on Web> This I knew before I posted the question...the trick is to find them on the web -

Comment: What I actually meant was that a generic FSE Forum may or may not exist. Please, which area of FSE are you interested in?
Yes, I work in the service industry with Architects/Engineers.

I am working in the field of electronics. Trying to find some books, terms, forums about FSE.
So, you are a field service engineer? where?

I used to work as a FSE in the oil fields. What industry, exactly, are you wanting to know about besides just plain electrical?

<I used to work as a FSE in the oil fields >
And what are you doing now?
I am a service manager. My background is electronic engineering. Now I am working in a company that makes machines for the pharmacuetical market. Like many other fields, it is down now.

Well I have worked in many areas. I have done product design engineering (power monitors) and I am now working in the power generation area. This diverse experience has a clear purpose for my agenda. I take it your looking for FSE's.
