File name limitations

Are there any limitations to the length of file names, or limitations to characters other than what Windows uses? I have been having Autosave crash on me, and after some "tests", I found out that files with a long name wold give an error, while the exact same files with a one word file name would autosave just fine. Thanks a bunch!

I'm using Mathcad 15.0 on Windows XP Professional 64-bit edition

I somewhat answered my own question, but now I'm wondering this:

Mathcad apparently only accepts a file name that is 33 characters long. Otherwise, Autosave crashes. Anyone know the reasoning behind the 33-character limit? Leftovers from version 1.0 perhaps?
