dear all,

I was wondering if there is a smart way to fill the gaps between ANSYS parts (e.g. the gap that is shown in the example file attached). if the shape would be "easy" I would just extrude the space in between the two parts. But the shape of the two parts is rather complex and I was wondering if there is something I am missing..

thanks for your suggestions,
edo

Hi

When the faces are opposite of each other then this is usually done with the Pinball. If they are not opposite of each other then you need to close the gap with adding maybe a weldment.
