Filling Internal Volume Of Part With No Model History

Hi,

I have downloaded a part from GrabCad of a Landing leg from a Falcon 9 rocket. I need to fill in the internal volume as shown in the image below, however since it was downloaded from the site, it has no model history and therefore I cannot change it through the model history. How can this be achieved?

YOu could try using delete face command, using the synchronous tools. Then you can select pocket or boss for quick selection. What version of NX are you using?

If you just want to fill this in, delete face (region faces option) is quick & easy.
Edit: the boss/pocket face filter as recommended by SDETERS is even easier.

I am using NX 12, I cant seem to delete the faces, I have selected them but I cannot click ok. Any ideas?

Hi, I followed your video, I don't understand how you went from clicking 2 faces to having 31 faces selected, how did you switch from single plane to region planes, when i click a face I am limited to feature face, single face and tangent faces. Thank you!
